Harbourville Restoration Society

The Harbourville Restoration Society was formed in early 1999 by a group of volunteers from the area who shared a strong desire to improve the wharves and revitalize the community of Harbourville. The Society is registered with the Registrar of Joint Stocks, has charitable organization status, and boasts an active Board elected by the community in open public meetings and governed by the Societies Act of the Province of Nova Scotia.

Mission Statement

The Harbourville Restoration Society will work for sustainable social and economic growth in Harbourville while remaining true to the values and traditions that define our community.

Goals of the Harbourville Restoration Society

1. Restore the Wharf

2. Foster and maintain a sustainable fishery in Harbourville.

3. Foster social and cultural vitality.

4. Create opportunities for diverse economic activity in Harbourville.

The HRS is pleased to accept donations using a method that is convenient for our donors:
