North Mountain Community Project - Let's have fun!

FUNDY SHORE NEW HORIZONS PROJECT … your input, as a community member, is so important.  Please take a few minutes to read this.

The goal of the Fundy Shore New Horizons’ project is to create social events and active living opportunities for seniors between Black Rock and Morden. The project also encourages seniors to share their lifetime of skills and knowledge with other members of their communities.

Although the Harbourville Restoration Society (HRS) is leading this project, we are looking for input from all the Fundy Shore communities since this is also about creating connections within larger community.  Creating stronger connections and greater sense of community benefits everyone!

Berta Klooster, a community member with experience in surveys, is coordinating our efforts to gather information. We want to get input from as many people as possible, so in addition to sending these questions out via the Harbourville newsletter list, and Brian Hirtle’s community list, Berta will be organizing kitchen table groups so some of you can get together with neighbours to discuss the survey questions and share ideas.

We want your suggestions on the kinds of activities you/family/friends would like to participate in, or what skills/expertise or hobbies you might be willing to share with others.

Please take some time to go through these questions and give us your input.
        and/or
Are you willing to host a small gathering around your kitchen table?  Or do you know someone who might be willing?

Also, if you know of someone, in any of the involved communities from Morden to Black Rock, who doesn’t get the newsletters/information via Internet, could you pass this along to them?   Since we have limited funds, any assistance in getting this survey distributed as widely as possible would be most appreciated.  The PDF version of the questionnaire can be downloaded and printed.  If you want to complete the questionnaire online, you will use the “.docx” version.
